GREAT MOODBOARD ON REFLECTIONS!
REFLECTION
Antonio Gutierrez
Gutierrez uses glass water to distorted faces. He then converts them into black and white which ienhances the look of distortion because it gives more depth.

DISTROTED reflection
My intentions in this shoot was to get my pictures as similar to Antonio Gutierrez work as possible this was because I am inspired by his work and I also used fleur for this shoot.
MY FAVOURITE PHOTOS
There is an upside down effect in some of these photos. It has reversed the face it also creates a dynamic look in the shoot. This gives off a interesting effect to the audience.

These three images are my favourite images out off all of the pictures I have taken for this. This is because you can see him clearly through the wind classes and it is the upside down effect. The way I Tok these photos is I got multiple wine classes and placed them in different spots each time this was because I wanted to get a affront effect in each picture.
GOOD SHOOT AND ANALYSIS. PLEASE INCLUDE ALL THE IMAGES YOU SHOT - IF THIS IS ALL, THOUGH, IT IS TOO LITTLE. AIM FOR 15-20 PHOTOS PER SHOOT. EXPLAIN THE UPSIDE DOWN EFFECT. WHAT IS A FRONT EFFECT? PLEASE EXPLAIN.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE IMAGE AND WHY? |
My favourite image would be the first ever image and this is because the different effect of the wine glasses. This because it shows the different angles of Blake's face.

The reason I changed the colour to black and white was because I wanted see a different effect in the photo and also to create a similarity to the work Antonio Guttierez.
SEBASTIAN MAGNANI
Sebastian Magnani is a Swiss photographer who captures many different images. He has won many different awards which I agree with because I think his work is especially eye capturing. Magnani has won many different awards such as best photographer of the year 2012,Gold and public winner,2014 underdog and many more. Magnani's work looks different and individual to any other artists work this is because the photos are not only in the same place they all have different ackrounds an different affects on the mirror. Magnani has achieved this sort of effect by finding the perfect place to take these photos and not captured anything else in this image just the mirror and the background.
For this task we had to place a mirror on the floor and try and capture both images the floor and sky and trees. This effect contrasts the different shades of green. The blurry surroundings help draw the v. eyes into the mirror. These images also give the viewer a unique contrast between the natural world and a man-made piece of glass that only mirrors the nature that was already there.Even though I couldn't focus both the mirror and the background at the same time like Sebastian Magnani got it still gives a rough idea with what kind of effect I am going for.
GOOD ANALYSIS!

TOM HUSSEY
Tom Hussey is an American photographer who mainly specialises in commercial advertising and lifestyle photography. He also earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production with a minor in Photography. He created "Reflection of the past" because when you get to a certain age of your life your older than you feel. Hussey first got this idea when he was at hid fathers house and his friend was over who was an actor and he was just about to turn 80 and he was talking about how he used to serve in World War 2and it didn't make sense to him that he could possible be 80 years old . Hussey did this so people could have this effect in there life where it makes them feel almost young again or go back to a special moment.
MY ATTEMPT
The way I got the effect that Tom Hussey had was I stared of by taking a picture of my friend on the tripod so it did not move the next step was I keep the camera on the tripod and put a mask over my friends face so its the same photo but one with her face and one with the mask however the camera had not moved and she was in the same position as before the las step was I went on to photoshop I cropped out the mirror and replaced it with image with the mask on. And the last picture is my final product with this task.
FIRST STRAND
REFLECTION OF MIRROR
first development
The reason why reflection of mirror is my favourite strand is because it was a fun and creative way to take pictures that I haven't taken before hand. The reason I chose this strand is to see how far I could take this idea and express it in my own unique way.
There are a couple of my favourite images this is because I like the effect where you can't really see the mirror and you can just see the reflection of the wire in all three pictures. The way i did this was I got a square mirror and cleaned it next I got someone to hold up this mirror and cropped out their hands on photoshop.
Final development
Very interesting final pieces!
Do several more shoots like this, in order to expand your Reflection portfolio and create a few more final pieces.
Do a shoot in the style of Mariya-Luiza, capturing the reflection off of glass surfaces that are filled with water - the ones of Fleur show the subjects behind the glass - you want to capture the images that are being reflected into the glass or behind the glass but that are not people. Try this in the early evening at home with your phone camera.
Do the Photoshop edits of your Tom Hussey-inspired Halloween shoot.
